How does it work? 
Dermal filler is injected into the lips to define the lip borders and/or create a fuller, plumped-out effect. We can inject as much or as little filler as the patient requires to give a subtle or more dramatic result. Lip filler is a naturally occurring hyaluronic acid gel. 

What does the lip enhancement procedure involve? 
Small quantities of filler will be injected into the border of the lips or body of the lip depending on the desired effect. The process can be uncomfortable and topical local anaesthetic will be applied to reduce any pain experienced. It should take approximately 30 minutes and the effects are instant. 

What is the result? 
Lip borders can be defined and the shape and size of the lips can be enhanced either subtly or dramatically depending on the result the client desires. This treatment is also ideal for reducing lines and creases around the mouth area (including ‘smoker’s lines’). Results last approximately 9 - 12 months.* 

 

WHAT IS FACIAL FILLER?

Facial fillers (also known as dermal fillers) use a natural gel to smooth out wrinkles, folds or scars to give your face a younger, refreshed more plumped appearance. If the skin on your face has lost its firmness and fullness, a facial filler treatment will be good solution to correct the problem for you.

 

Dermal filler is a naturally-occurring hyaluronic acid gel that is injected into the face to smooth wrinkles and folds (especially around the nose and mouth). It is also used to plump out scars or dents in the face and to define and enhance lips, reshape the nose, or define and plump out cheeks.

The filler used by Enhance are the best available on the market and comes with a local anaesthetic which makes the process relatively painless. It should take approximately 20 minutes and the effects are instant.*

Smooths out lines and wrinkles, producing an instant effect that will leave your face feeling younger and fresher and looking more youthful than ever before. Most patients need one treatment and the results last about 9 months to 1 year.*

HOW DOES CHEEK ENHANCEMENT WORK?
As you get older, you may begin to notice some sagginess in the skin on your face. This is a common sign of ageing, but we can use dermal fillers to make your cheeks look a little fuller and reduce unsightly jowls and wrinkles. Alternatively, younger patients may simply desire more prominent/defined cheekbones.* 

What does the cheek enhancement procedure entail? 
The treatment will begin by applying topical anaesthetic to your face. Once the anaesthetic has taken effect, filler will be administered via several small injections, using gel to fill out your cheeks and replenish their youthful appearance.* 

What will this do? 
If your cheeks have become jowly or started to sag, the facial fillers will help to combat this classic sign of ageing, giving your cheeks added lift and a vibrant fullness. This effect will last for up to 9 months, after which you may wish to return for a second treatment.*

Yes, as long as they are administered by a trained technician. The hyaluronic gel is completely natural, and over time, the filler will slowly dissolve, causing no harm to you.

 

WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS / CAUTIONS / CONTRAINDICATIONS ?

Most side effects are mild and temporary but on rare occasions more serious complications can occur. These can include:

 

• Redness

• Pain

• Swelling

• Bruising

• Asymmetry  

• Infection

• Allergic Reaction

 

You should not have fillers if you have severe allergies, are pregnant or breastfeeding.

 

If an active skin infection is present i.e. Cold Sore on the mouth we cannot perform treatment until it has been treated and given time to heal.
