How Does It Work ?
3D Vasculase works by applying a narrow 980nm laser beam to target the vein using a precise application. The red blood cells in the thread veins absorb the laser energy, causing the blood within the vein to heat up, damaging the wall of the vein.
This reaction causes the thread vein to close down. Once the vein has closed down, the body absorbs it, causing it to disappear.

How many treatments are recommended? As the 3D Vasculase treatment is permanently removing the vein, only one treatment is typically required. However, your treatment plan will need to be assessed during consultation as this may vary depending on each client.
Is 3D Vasculase Safe? This treatment is safe and effective in treating thread vein removal. 3D Vasculase uses proven technology to ensure fantastic results with a fast treatment time. As with all laser treatments, you will need to wear protective eye-wear during the treatment. All laser safety protocols will be observed. Occasionally, scarring can occur but should fade over time.
Am I suitable for this treatment? This treatment can be suitable for everyone aged 18+ with a Fitzpatrick Skin Scale of 1-4. Certain Medical Conditions will also exclude you from treatment. *subject to consultation
How does the treatment feel? During the treatment, as laser technology is used, you will feel a minor heat sensation as the laser moves across the skin. Topical numbing cream is applied for 20-30 mins prior to treatment,
What areas can be treated? This treatment can target thread veins on a number of areas on the body including thighs, calves, ankles and face.
How do I prepare and what is the aftercare? Pre-Treatment one week prior -Apply anti-viral cream if prone to cold sores. 3 days before -Stop using ‘active’ skincare (ie. AHA, BHA, Retinol (Vitamin A)). -Avoid direct sun exposure. -Excessive facial hair, beards and moustaches need to be clean shaven prior to treatment. -Avoid use of aftershaves and perfumes on treatment area Post Treatment: - Avoid direct sunlight for 24 hours, and no sunbeds during your treatment. -Do not apply spray tan or self-tan for 2–3 weeks post treatment. -Use SPF30+ sunscreen. -Keep skin dry for 24 hours and avoid scratching -Avoid active skincare for 3–5 days after treatment. -No swimming for 24 hours -No exercise or strenuous activity that will cause sweating -Avoid heat or steam (ie. cooking/hot shower). -Do not allow pets to lick the skin. -Face masks should be disposed of and not reused. -Do not pick flaky skin. -Drink plenty of water.
